Scarcely 24 hours to Saturday's governorship supplementary race in some surveying units in Kogi state, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Dekina, Dekina neighborhood government territory of the state has been incompletely devastated by flame.
Observers guaranteed that a few hooligans attacked the workplace at around 5am and set it ablaze, The Nation reports.

"The hooligans arrived in a transport, shot sporadically and annihilated down the workplace," one of the observers said.
The workplace was smoldered with materials to be utilized for Saturday's supplementary governorship race in the range.
Affirming the episode, Malam Halilu Pai, the inhabitant constituent commisioner in Kogi said: "We won't succumb to the undemocratic shenanigans of nearly few, substitution of the decision materials are as of now in transit; the race will go ahead as booked."
He added that INEC had migrated to a provisional office in the region.

Dissents shook the eastern piece of the state over the demise of Prince Abubakar Audu and the choice of the of the main party in the decision, the APC to supplant the late Audu with Alhaji Yahaya Bello from Kogi Central.
A gathering of attorneys has prompted the INEC not to proceed with the supplementary Kogi race. As per them, the All Progressives Congress (APC) couldn't introduce a possibility to supplant its expired governorship applicant, Audu.
Audu passed on Sunday, November 22, a day after the uncertain gubernatorial decision and his gathering has supplanted him with Yahaya Bello, who will challenge on Saturday, December 5 in the supplementary race.
