Blast rocks US army installation in Japan

Pentagon Representative, Naval force Comdr. William Urban, affirmed that a blast happened at the U.S. Armed force Sagami General Terminal in Sagamihara City, Japan, soon after 12 pm nearby time on Monday.

"There are no reports of damage, and base firefighters and specialists on call are as of now battling the subsequent flame to keep its spread to close-by structures.

Urban said the reason for the blast is under scrutiny.

Then, the US Armed force in Japan said the building was not assigned as an unsafe material storeroom as some introductory reports demonstrated.

It said the station did not store ammo or radiological materials.
